1. FilmPods
The FilmPods program is now in Alpha mode! See producersportal.com - FilmPods are the public & industry facing branding for what has been called the IIPG's Direct To Audience Initiative. It being in "alpha" mode, we are inviting a ton of film creators to get involved and populate the FilmPod space with their projects. This will attract traffic, attention and facilitate funding and distribution through the IIPG's ProducersPortal.com.
FilmPods are being designed as an easy. single stop tool for producers/creators to develop, finance and exploit their film - distributing it directly to the viewer across the globe without the interference of gatekeepers or the controls of distributors who keep their money. The audience FilmPod app is now in early design. YOU need to be a part of this program.
2. ProducersPortal.com
As previously reported, producersportal.com is the IIPG's audience and industry facing platform, designed to provide reasonably priced, professional services for independent producers who need them. And to facilitate promotion and development for those who can do it themselves.
As an IIPG member, you get a flat 20% off all services at producersportal.com - services which will already be priced at the lower end of industry standard.
Also, if you are an IIPG member in good standing looking to receive referral work as a producer/line producer, script reader, etc., or you have courses you have created, you should take advantage and get registered with the platform so that you can make some money. Producing services are available already. Coming shortly are script services and courses (some area already listed). Contact Shadow Dragu-Mihai directly to discuss, at sdm@legioxiii-imprimatur.com.
3. IIPG Branding - Sound Off Please!
The IIPG directors are considering a change of brand name for the IIPG. We want to make the organization easier to identify and to make it more recognizable in the industry, and to the public. We are floating a few alternative names and want your input, regardless of your membership status. Please send your thoughts on these to Shadow sdm@legioxiii-imprimatur.com.
Current Name: International Independent Producers Guild
Possible names:
- Producers Guild International
- Independent Producers Guild
- Motion Picture Creators Guild
- Guild of Film Producers
