Camera For Directors and Producers

An overview seminar of essential information for the producer or director who is unfamiliar with the technical aspects of camera and working with cinematographers and camera operators. The camera captures the image for your story. Effective camera department operation and direction is therefore vital and the decisions you make relating to camera will affect both your budget and your artistic expression. This seminar will prepare you to select an appropriate camera for your project, and to structure your production so that camera is integrated properly. Areas covered:

THE IPG has a series of practical producer-oriented seminars and workshops, complete with pro tips, conducted by very experienced producers. This is administered through Stage And Screen Innovations Producing Unique New Creators (PUNC) program.

PUNC seminar and workshop curriculum is available to the general filmmaking community at a low cost. IPG General Members get a discount on PUNC seminars and workshops, and IPG Full Members can access them free.
